Thursday evening, 6 pm. “Curious About the Free State Project and its Impact?” Former New Hampshire state senator Jeanne Diestch speaks on the impact of the Free State Project on state, county and local politics. Dietsch served a term as a NH State Senator, after a career as a tech entrepreneur. In 2020, she began researching the Free State Project’s activities and affiliations in New Hampshire. “Many Granite Staters,” Dietsch says, “don’t realize that a national group called the Free State Project decided in 2003 to turn New Hampshire into their libertarian homeland.” Soliciting thousands of libertarians from around the country to move to New Hampshire, many have run for local, county or state office, advancing libertarian policies. In 2024 the group won control of the NH House majority caucus. This event is free and open to people of all parties.
