If you have not heard about this movement, it is an American political migration movement founded in 2001 to recruit at least 20,000 libertarians to move to a single low-population state to make the state a stronghold for libertarian ideas. New Hampshire was selected in 2003 for this purpose. If you want to read some material ahead of time, read Jeanne’s report, NH: Battleground in the Fight to Dismantle Democracy, on granitestatematters.org

Location is in Twin Bridge Park at the Merrimack Youth Association (487 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH 03054). Use the Twin Bridge Park entrance and the back parking lot. The entrance to the building faces the back lot. Hosted by League of Women Voters Greater Nashua unit.

All day: No Kings rallies June 14

All day
June 14, 2025

Saturday, June 14 - Flag Day - "NO KINGS" rallies around the state and the country. These will be non-violent protests. Indivisible, the primary organizers but with dozens of other groups as co-sponsors, describes it this way: "NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from [the current administration]. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies. On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide."  --- League of Women Voters is a not a sponsor, but our members are encouraged to to express their belief in the checks and balances system of federal government, due process, and respect for the constitution.
